Moving into Blue Heaven 2.0
Then it was finally time. You could feel it, the excitement was great. The eight youth players of the Bokomo SFC Swakopmund Youth Academy were able to move into the new house together with the house mum and the youth coaches. When the door was opened for the first time and the boys looked at the house and the individual rooms, there was great cheering. It was emotional to see how happy the children are about the new living situation. We held a housewarming party to coincide with moving in. It was a special day for Ileni and Paulus, from today they will also be living in Blue Heaven. Thank you to Manuela, Armin and the Bushbabies Inn for sponsoring the beds for both of them. The Stelzenmaennchen team around chairman Thomas prepared a special gift for our children when they moved in, because there was a new trampoline.

Sponsorship creates perspectives

When our club was founded in 2019, our primary goal was to be able to offer professional football training to as many children and young people as possible. This motivation gave rise to the idea of looking for sponsors for SFC Swakopmund players. In the meantime, 20 young players have already found a sponsor, and they were able to look forward to their new training equipment on May 27th. From players from the U9 - U17 everything was there. Many thanks to all sponsors.

A sponsorship includes the annual membership fee for SFC Swakopmund, a pair of soccer shoes and a tracksuit including pants. The costs amount to 312€/year.

Nani's trip to Germany

In March 2023, our U13 player "Nani" was able to fly to Germany together with coach Tony as part of a cancer check-up. In addition to a professional examination at the University Hospital in Karlsruhe, Nani was allowed to watch the training of Karlsruher SC, SV Vimbuch and 1860 Munich. At the end of his trip, Nani was even able to attend a game played by the German national team against Peru. Many thanks to Thomas from Association for the Promotion of Children with Cancer Karlsruhe e.V. (stilt man), football fans against cancer, the boatswain, fan on street and all individual sponsors who have given Nani an unforgettable time with their help.

Christmas party at Blue Heaven

At the beginning of December the first DBFN XMAS party took place in the youth center Blue Heaven.
Our five residents, many friends and fellow players of theBokomo SFC Swakopmund Youth Academyand of course Santa Claus.

At the beginning, cookie dough was rolled out and Christmas music was heard, the children had a lot of fun cutting out the shapes and baking together. Even before the cookies could be decorated, our boys all nibbled away.

Then there was a 3-course menu consisting of salad, mashed potatoes with red cabbage and chicken and dessert. The children were more than full and could immediately look forward to the next surprise. Because Santa Claus himself had arrived and had presents for all the children. We say thank you to:Schalke helps!for donating the Christmas gifts for the players; Your quiz for Namibia for the donation of a TV for Blue Heaven and Dr. Fochler&Company for catering for the twenty children. Also, thanks to Nikola, Nico and our Santa Claus for their support. Christmas for everyone!

Socks for Christmas

Our DBFN Xmas campaign was a complete success. This year, thanks to your support, we were able to distribute 1390 pairs of socks with biscuits in the townships of Swakopmund.

This year we had active support from the kids of theBokomo SFC Swakopmund Youth Academy- they helped pack and distribute the socks.

That was a big help for us! The kids could even give their friends, neighbors and family members a small Christmas present and get an insight into our work.

Many thanks to all donors and helpers for your commitment.
