DBFN NEW PROJECT

New season - new goal!

Full focus on sport in our new project. We want to equip the SFC Swakopmund Youth Academy with four new football goals. These are made locally in Namibia (transport from Germany is too expensive). A goal costs 800 euros. A total of four goals are required (3200 euros). We will continue to collect until we have collected the donation amount. Every euro counts.

Current status: 0 euros / 3200 euros

ACCOMODATION

Our accommodation project has been running since the beginning of 2022. 13 players from the SFC Swakopmund Youth Academy are currently living together with housemother Cheroline in the DBFN youth home, the Blue Heaven. We offer the children a safe home, regular meals, education and security.

A big thank you to Verein Bildung und Erziehung in Afrika eV and our individual sponsors for the monthly support with the rent.

PLAYER EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Together with our partner club, SFC Swakopmund, we have already given players the opportunity to travel to Germany. Whether purely sporting exchange or for health reasons such as for examinations. We want to give our youth players the chance to develop, gain new experiences and get to know new cultures. Definitely a highlight for our players.

You want to support a player exchange, send a player to a trial or to a training camp. Then feel free to contact us by email.

EDUCATION

The education of children in Namibia is an important part of our work. The focus here is on promoting the independence and self-determination of a person.

We are very proud to already be able to offer six junior footballers from SFC Swakopmund a place at the One Tree Montessori or Eagles Nest through an educational sponsorship. enable private school. In addition, before each training session, the children at SFC Swakopmund receive support in the area of basic subjects and with their homework.

DONATION TOUR

In order to support children and young people throughout Namibia, fundraising tours take place regularly throughout Namibia. These tours took us to more than 70 clubs. A few of the places visited were Khorixas, Kamanjab, Outjo, Uis, Tses, Luderitz, Windhoek, Oshakati, Okahandja and Otjiwarongo.

As part of the donation tours, the youth sections of the clubs visited are provided with kits, balls, vests and refreshments in the form of a meal. Coach Tony then provides insight into a training session and conducts it with the children.

SPONSORSHIPS

Since 2018 we have been organizing the SFC sponsorship program, in which young football talents from disadvantaged backgrounds are given the opportunity to play and learn at the SFC Swakopmund Youth Academy. A sponsorship includes for one player per year:

  • Training Fees  SFC Academy

  • Membership SFC Swakopmund

  • SFC Tracksuit

  • soccer shoes

  • DBFN Program

Total: 350 Euro

Many players cannot afford the fees to play at SFC  in the Academy. With our sponsorship program you enable a player to realize his dream.

Would you like to take on a sponsorship?

Feel free to contact us.

Another important area of our non-profit association is supporting the health of children in Namibia. Because only a healthy body can cope with the demands of school, sports and everyday life. Only those who are healthy can be effective, creative and motivated.

There are various ways in which you can support us as a sponsor.

The majority of youth footballers cannot afford the costs of a private doctor's visit, so we help in different areas. This includes, for example, visits to the dentist, ophthalmologist and support in cancer treatment.
